Regional Account Manager USA

Guide ID is looking for an ambitious sales professional who wants to contribute to the US expansion of the Podcatcher Platform. We are currently looking for a Regional Account Manager who preferably is based on the West Coast.

Who are we?
Guide ID is a successful supplier of the Podcatcher audio tour. The Podcatcher platform consists of both hardware and software that is developed internally. We are active in 15 countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Sweden and the United States.
We think it is important to keep the platform simple and usable for everyone. This approach has proved very successful in recent years.
We are proud to work with leading museums such as the Royal Palace Amsterdam, the Hermitage in Amsterdam, the Anne Frank House, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, the USS Midway and George Washington’s Mount Vernon.

Job description
You will be responsible for sales and sales related matters in the Western half of the US. Besides direct acquisition, we expect you to initiate marketing activities such as sales oriented mailings, ads and attend regional events. You will perform market research to identify the complete museum, historic site and cultural attraction market in your area, find vital sales contacts and collect data based on visitor numbers.

Organizing on-site demonstrations and sales meetings with prospects will be a vital element for the day to day sales process. Your day to day responsibilities will include drafting quotes, drafting contracts and (in cooperation with museums) maximize the number of monthly visitors that take a tour, to optimize sales. All sales activities need to be logged into our CRM-system which is also used to manage your targets.

Profile
You have a bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of relevant sales experience. A basic affinity with software platforms is desired. An existing network of contacts within the museum and historic site market is a plus! You have a proven commercial track record. You are flexible, can operate independently and show a lot of initiative and enthusiasm for what Guide ID brings to the market.

Salary
You will receive a fixed base income supplemented with a percentage of the contracts you have closed.

Inside Sales Support USA

Job description
You will be responsible for assisting the sales team by doing extensive research to identify and qualify prospects, updating our CRM, scheduling sales calls, organizing trade show attendance, marketing and assorted tasks that help the sales team to achieve their targets. Additionally, you'll be tasked with assisting existing accounts in the US where necessary. This role is primarily inside sales support but may entail occasional travel to support the sales team. This position can be full time or part time depending on the experience of the candidate and the support needs of the Guide ID team.

Profile
You have a bachelor's degree and at least two years of sales support experience (or equivalent). A basic affinity with software platforms is desired. Any existing network of contacts within the museum and historic site market is a plus! You like to take the initiative and are attentive, accurate, flexible and can operate independently.

Salary
You will receive a fixed base income.
